We are looking for:
A system administrator with a proven track record in ensuring cybersecurity and providing end-user desktop IT support. You will take ownership and single-handedly and independently oversee IT Risk Management, information security, local area networks, manage our equipment and act as local IT Help-desk but most importantly - you will be building and co-creating Keyrock.
For this particular position we require that the candidate is based in Brussels or close vicinity that enables regular physical presence in our office.
Background and experience:
Hands-on experience in ensuring cybersecurity
At least 1 year of hands-on experience working in an end-user desktop support role or computer operations environment required (equivalent of Tier 1 and 2 support level)
Experience in Linux and bash scripting
Experience in network administration
Good knowledge of and passion for the entire IT landscape
Basic coding skills and willingness to learn
What would be a strong plus:
Experience with Atlassian Suite and project management systems (like Shortcut, formerly Clubhouse)
Familiarity with ISO27001 and ISO27002 Standards
Familiarity with regulatory requirements for IT environment for financial institution
Competences and personality:
Disciplined with strong organisational skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, fluent business-level English
Ability to deal with ambiguity and a fast-paced environment
Good adaptability to change
Motivated and eager to learn
Good analytical skills and ability to effectively draw conclusions and act in accordance with data-based evidence
Self-starter willing to take ownership for their work
Ensuring best in class end-user desktop support
Manage local area networks
Driving creation and implementation of internal IT policy
Ensure bullet-proof IT Security
Active directory and access architecture and management
Managing IT equipment and software upgrades for all our hybrid workforce
Ensuring optimal software and hardware environment for our operations to be performed both physically in the office in Belgium and by our remote workforce
